The below presentation is regarding major techniques that have been proposed over the years for text analytics. This presentation was focused majorly towards text classifications problems. There would be other variants of the presented techniques which are not covered in here.

 

2. Digital Document Catalogue Miner : Tool

The below presentation is regarding a prototype tool which I had built for retrieving insights and information from texts present in an image. It is done through Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Once the text is generated through OCR then lot of text analytics models can come into play. There are various use-cases from Insurance industry as I had been working for Insurance business but it can be extended to other verticals where there are valuable extracts or scanned docs in form of images.
